Wilkes-Barre General Hospital meets monthly at the Thomas P Saxton Medical
Pavilion on 468 Northampton Street in Edwardsville. This group offers support
to individuals with heart disease….and offers forums for treatment of heart

Wyoming Valley Health Care System hosts it’s "Man
To Man" Prostate Cancer Support Group on the 3rd Monday Of Each
Month in the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital Radiation/Oncology department on 575
North River Street in Wilkes-Barre. The only support group of it’s kind in the
Wilkes-Barre area, the "Man To Man" support group provides
information and support specific for men with concerns about prostate cancer.

third Wednesday of each month at 4pm in the Wilkes-barre
General Hospital Radiation Oncology Department at 575 North River Street in

patients and their families and support persons to share their cancer

Hospice care of the Visiting Nurse Assocation is now accepting new participants for it’s free
grief support group series held on Wednesdays at the First Baptist Church at 52
East 8th Street in Wyoming. The course, facilitated by Pastor Jeffry Klansek is
non-denominational and elements of spirituality are discussed. This program
helps to provide people better understanding of their feelings of grief. For
